ABC4: How Salt Lake Comic Con ‘Big Wig’ Chris Provost is supporting real superheroes

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)-  Salt Lake Comic Con fans (and everyone else) have the chance to support real-life superheroes this month. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, local comedian, actor, and Salt Lake Comic Con rep Chris Provost, is teaming up with Komen Utah to raise money for breast cancer research.

Provost along with 10 other “Big Wigs” in the community have agreed to raise or give a minimum of $2,000 to Komen Utah. Campaign officials say that money will be used “to ensure access to essential breast health services and education programs, and support research to find the cures for breast cancer.”

Through the “BigWig” campaign 75% of funds raised will stay in local communities to help fund breast cancer initiatives locally.
