Friday Morning Events


Registration will be held from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. today at the south entrance of the Salt Palace. If you already have a wristband, you DO NOT need to wait in the registration line. If you already have a wristband, you can enter through the East (Round) entrance. There will be 3 lines into registration: GA, Gold, and VIP. If you need to register, please print out your ticket or QR code or have that information readily available as you approach the front of the line. We will be managing lines more efficiently, and we appreciate your patience.  We appreciate your patience as we help move this process as quickly as possible.

Yoga Classes with Hudson Leick

Yoga classes with Hudson Leick will be held today and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. in Room 255D. Hudson Leick has been studying yoga for over 16years and taught for more than 13. She is a member of the California Yoga Teacher’s Association and co-owner of Healing Hands Yoga. Come join this unique class where you can perform yoga “like dancing when you were a child, without worry of judgement.” The class is suitable for everyone, including beginners. Jason David Frank Meet & Greet Event

Come join Power Ranger and MMA star, Jason David Frank, for a special Meet-and-Greet event at 6 p.m. at the Marriott City Creek Hotel across from the Salt Palace! He will be joined by Johnny Yong Bosch for this exclusive event. Get your tickets now and come make some new memories with your favorite Power Rangers.

  • Private Function with a limited number of tickets (a SLCC pass is NOT required to participate)
  • Your own Photo Op with Jason David Frank (bring your camera)
  • Refreshments and light food will be served
  • Jason David Frank will speak for approximately 5-10 minutes followed by Q&A
  • Kids are not free into the Meet-and-Greet sessions and must purchase a ticket at full price for entry

Gaming Room

Come get your game on at Salt Lake Comic Con 2014′s Gaming Room! Along with our Game Tournaments, dozens of fun tabletop games and video games will be available to play, buy and watch in Room 155! A massive board game library and demos will be open all-day, every day in the Gaming Room, plus Play to Win Raffle entries for those who play games from the Game Library. Here is an overview of today’s gaming schedule:

KidCon Parades

Let your kids show off their creative costumes in our Kids Costume Parades! There will be a Prince and Princess Parade this morning in the KidCon area at 11 a.m. This is a great, FREE opportunity to take photos of your young KidCon royalty as they strut their stuff on the stage. Sign in early for the parades – and hurry – space is limited! The KidCon Super Hero Parade will begin at 11 a.m. Parade sign-ups are located by the KidCon stage.     Thanks for the awesome gaming room this year – I have to say one of the highlights for us was going and playing a few quick games. Zombie Dice & Dungeon Roll. We didn’t have time to play the large version of Catan but maybe next time. Well run, well organized – Bravo
