Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista join 24th James Bond film as villains!

With James Bond 24‘s December start date fast approaching, some casting news is finally beginning to surface. First up, Daily Mail reports that Lea Seydoux (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) has signed on to play the “femme fatale” and “will meet fellow cast members, led by Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris, for a script rehearsal in late November,”. The role of an “extremely physically fit” henchman, supposedly in the vein of Jaws or Oddjob, has, according to Latino Review, been filled by Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista, and he certainly fits the description.

New Marvel Series for Silk, Spider-Gwen, Gamora, Ant-Man and More!

It seems all the women in Peter Parker’s life are getting their own solo comics these days. Marvel just revealed that both Peter’s new partner Silk and the alternate universe heroine Spider-Gwen will be spinning out into ongoing series next year in the aftermath of Spider-Verse. It would also seem that the Marvel films are impacting the comicbook world as Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Gamora and Ant-Man are due for their own series as well.

Warner Bros starts development of a LEGO Batman movie!

It was only matter of time. After the phenomenal success of The LEGO Movie, Warner Bros. is fast-tracking a spinoff in the form of a LEGO Batman movie. Will Arnett, whose character was a highlight of the amazing first film, will return to voice the hilarious character. Chris McKay, who acted as animation supervisor on the first film and was attached to direct the sequel, will how helm this picture.
