DC Comics Announces their first 2015 Event: Convergence!
USA Today reports that Convergence will be a nine-week miniseries kicking off April 1st, and will “spill into 40 two-part miniseries in April and May featuring a variety of writers and artists examining the worlds of the DC Universe over the decades, as well as the heroes and villains contained within.” The story is described as a “meta epic” by co-publisher Dan DiDio, and involves Brainiac bringing together the populations of all of the multiverse cities he’s trapped over the years in an experiment to see what would happen if they were to meet. Out of this, a new supervillian named Telos (Greek philosophical term for “end” or “goal”) will be introduced.
The first trailer for Furious 7 has been released!
Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell.
IGN Infographic: A Day in the Life of a Video Game
Day/night cycles in games are still really impressive. Whether you’re running around a forest at night in Skyrim, or watching the sunrise in Grand Theft Auto, day/night cycles make the worlds we play in feel alive.
